Seeing a tiger and her cub up close for ten minutes, or so. (more)Jacqui Licht
It is practically impossible to pick one thing out of so many - seeing a sloth bear and her two cubs was very special, watching a leopard relaxing on a rock - and that is before starting on the birds! (more)Elizabeth Plomer
Seeing tigers. In particular saw tiger cub and tiger stalking deer. (more)Matthew Wood
Tiger tour in India, land of the Tiger tour

Good but disappointing game drives at the end (too tiger orientated - Uncomfrortable fast drive and then sat seeing nothing for last six drives) (more)Martyn Todd
The most memorable moment was seeing a Wild Tiger for the first time and witnessing a Tiger stalk and live kill a cow from about 40 yards away, an amazing one in a life time moment!!! This was a great holiday, enjoying a group holiday for the first time, meeting folks from different walks of life, mixing with the local people... (more)Ian Harrison
Definitely a benefit for the local people with the money and jobs and investment in the school. (more)Linda Hall

It was excellent. Very well organised, with all details looked after and a very high standard of accommodation. It was very reasonably priced - we got a lot of holiday for our money. (more)Colin Bingle
Excellent! The operator organised a high quality, secure, efficient tour. Everything worked smoothly. Guides, drivers etc were punctual, reliable and courteous. (more)Brian Hargreaves
The process of tracking the tigers was fascinating and when one jumped out in the road in front of our vehicle and just strolled away it was magical. The Taj Mahal was also truly amazing. (more)Kel Darnell

Enjoyed every aspect of it and the local agent handling it all was faultless. (more)Nigel and Theresa Rogers
Seeing a tiger for the first time was the most memorable moment. I was looking at a bird through my binoculars, when I hear a sudden call that resonates right through me. Out of the jungle walks a female tiger. I was lucky to be in the only jeep in that area, which made it feel all the more special.... (more)Kelvin Lofthouse

So much to praise about this wonderful trip! - Sleeping at night listening to the sounds of the jungle at Shergarh – a most extraordinary and luxurious tented safari camp near Kanah. - Visit to Phen Wildlife Sanctuary, so lovely that there were no other jeeps, like safaris were fifty years ago. So peaceful to stop the jeep and listen to the sounds of the animals and the jungle. (more)Lesley Fairbairn
Every day of my trip was exciting and memorable. It was a truly wonderful experience to explore rural Chattisgargh with a seamlessly tailored holiday. I felt I made friends every step of the way and a part of me has stayed with a wish to return. (more)Gwyneth Wright

Seeing a wild tiger within 30 meters of our safari jeep was the most memorable. (more)Keith Scarfe
The trip as a whole was fantastic (9 days), but seeing a wild Tiger for the first time was something else. It was quite an emotional experience. (more)Martin Blow
Bandhavgarh and Kanha tiger safari in India
    From
    £1,495

Memorable parts? Seeing tigers, we were lucky enough to see two at Kanha, although we didn't see any at Bandhavgarh. Tips? Add a tour of Delhi, it's well worth it. Although you don't need much money it's good to have some for tips etc and you can't change money in the parks so make sure you change enough in Delhi. Local benefits? Think this holiday definitely benefited locals and supported conservation and also feel the impact of tourism is having an environmental impact... (more)Kay Topping

Memorable parts? Picture the scene, you are sat on the back of an elephant looking down into the long grass where a stunning tiger views you with mild suspicion. Your elephant steps a couple of feet too close and... whilst it was merely a warning and we were obviously in no danger, I will never forget the noise the tiger made! Our tiger sightings (5 in 3 days at Kanha) were amazing. Peering through the edge of the forest to see a tiger looking back at you only a few metres away is something... (more)Mark Lineham
