Our children would say Kaia, our donkey who they bonded with was the most memorable. For me, the emptiness and the views. Possibly my favourite spot of all was the Chappelle St-Barnabe near Val Pelens where we whiled away a couple of hours in glorious sunshine with spectacular views. (more)Rob Booth
Awesome, it has raised the bar for next year! (more)Tony Johnson
The whole thing was memorable! Our 6 year old and 4 year old leading "Leonidas" our donkey through the French Alps, sleeping in a beautiful yurt in an Alpine meadow, and feeling like we'd done something completely different to the typical "bucket and spade" type of holiday. (more)Alison Godfrey

Staying in small guesthouses in small towns was very memorable and pushed me outside of my comfort zone in a good way, to experience a bit more of the culture. This was a great trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a walking holiday on their own time. (more)Cristi Carlstead

I do want to say that our stay in the chalet was absolutely 5 *****. We were cared for beautifully in a warm and friendly ambiance with delicious, generous and creative meals, including wine. The guides know the families who run the Tea Houses where we stayed ,and on many occasions we were greeted as old friends ! Also by being in a small group the impact on the environment and in the villages we stayed was not as significant as if we'd been in a larger group. (more)Jane Elliott
The western and Nepali guides and porters were great - always smiling and ready to make sure everyone was happy. An excellent trip in all aspects. (more)patricia barber

It was incredible, amazing, breathtaking. Simply spectacular. Totally worth it, Nepal is a paradise, and its people are a big part of the good feeling you get there. (more)Laura Murillo
My guide Krishna and porter Ali were helpful throughout with Ali never saying a negative word about my kit bag he was carrying and Krishna being especially on the early morning ascent to Thorong La Pass. He sensibly walked 40/50 paces then stopped for 30 seconds and then on again etc. At that altitude the pace was just right and we made it to the top in wonderful snowy conditions with clear blue skies at 8.30 am a great memory to have. (more)Len Davison
Nepal is a stunning country but it is being undermined by pollution and corruption. There seems to be an attitude that its ok to overcharge tourists because they are seen as rich by comparison. (more)Jane Crashley

Walking the trail was very hard in places, but so well organised that it was a great sense of achievement to complete each day and the trail itself. When we got to the Sun Gate above Machu Picchu we arrived in a lot of low cloud which took the edge off it, however we walked on a bit further and got a great high level view of the lost city so we were more than happy with this. (more)Dave Jackson

Memorable parts? Hiking the Iceline trail in Yoho National Park. Seeing grizzly and black bears by the roadside. Tips? The pace of this holiday is a bit frenetic and there was very little 'down time'. Days started early and every minute was taken up with hiking, cooking for the group (of 16 in our case) and washing up, putting up or taking down tents and travelling between destinations, but, despite the hard work, it was one of the best holidays I've ever had. Truly fabulous group... (more)Christabel Owens

Overall we had an amazing holiday. This was partly down to the breathtaking scenery of the mountains, the beauty of lakeside Pokhara and the bustling excitement of Kathmandu, but mostly down to the quality of service provided by the operator who made the task of trekking for 11 days a really comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable experience. (more)Kylie Ackers

The whole holiday - with a week of trekking and some days for sightseeing in Pokora and in and around Kathmandu was perfect. Love the combination of active and cultural; trekking through the beautifully lush lower ranges and visiting smaller settlements were our favourite. (more)Els Termaat
This was an exceptional trip, of course due to the stunning mountains, but mostly because of the fantastic work of the team. They made us feel welcome, safe and entertained. It's easy to see the tangible effects of benefiting the local people. Many of the teahouses exist only because of the people coming through on treks. This is particularly important now after the devastation of the earthquake. (more)Emma Collver
Travelling through the villages you will see the women working in the paddy fields. Drinking masala tea overlooking the Phewa Tal against a backdrop of the mountains was wonderfully relaxing after the 6 day trek. (more)Gill Craig

But equally the lovely new friendships I have made from a great group of people to travel and climb with and the absolutely stunning and spectacular scenery of the High Atlas Mountains. Tips?
