Responsible Travel
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.
Planet
We are always concerned about ecosystem tourism. During the tour, we visit different places; Kathmandu and Pokhara are cities, Nagarkot is a hill station, Chitwan is National Park. While on the trip, we suggest our clients use a reusable water bottle instead of buying a plastic water bottle.Chitwan National Park is the homeland of some endangered animals like One-Horned Rhinos and Royal Bengal Tiger. Many projects are running to protect and increase the number of animals and birds; tigers, rhinos, musk deer, different birds, etc. We never promote any activities that harm natural resources and animals.
We stay in eco-hotels/ loges and also those who are supporting & participating in the go green movement. We clean the land, river and always try to keep the environment clean. Our well-trained guide always assists you to fill up the water in your water bottle, manage the garbages and make the trips more responsible.
People
Our focus is on how we can support the local community. This tour is diving into the local communities; For example Newari Culture & practices and pottery works of Bhaktapur, wood carvings of Patan, Tharu culture/ practices of Chitwan. We encourage these locals to participate, create and promote local art and culture, which can be a source of income. We support local merchants by enhancing their skills providing guidelines in sustainable tourism, and helping them find out the markets. Our guides/ staffs are the locals. Like in Chitwan, we hire a local guide who can deliver firsthand knowledge to our valuable clients. It helps on both sides for the tourist and also the guide. Our guide provides the appropriate information about the local culture and traditions. Always respect local social and religious beliefs. We regularly notice our clients about the recent social and political of Nepal. And, we provide adequate information about the local practices, norms, and values of monuments, temples, and stupas before the tour start.
