1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The mix of adventure and community made this holiday really special. I loved exploring Montenegro through kayaking, paddle boarding, canyoning, boat trips, and hikes to hidden beaches and waterfalls. As a solo traveller staying for three weeks and joining three retreats in a row, I also appreciated how easy it was to connect with people and feel part of the community. It was the kind of trip that left me with great memories and new friends.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Bring your hiking shoes.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
10/10. It was the perfect mix of adventure, nature, relaxation, and community. I arrived as a guest and left feeling like I had been part of something much bigger than a holiday.

Planet
Our commitment to environmental sustainability is deeply rooted in every aspect of our operations. We actively reduce our carbon footprint by using renewable energy sources, such as solar power, and building energy-efficient spaces. Our facilities are designed to minimize energy consumption, including a stone building with thick walls and eco-friendly heating systems. Organic farming practices are at the heart of our approach, avoiding harmful chemicals and preserving soil health. In addition to reducing waste through comprehensive recycling and composting programs, we prioritize the use of locally sourced ingredients, minimizing the carbon emissions associated with transportation. We also take pride in restoring local habitats by planting native species, creating wildlife corridors, and conserving water through sustainable landscaping techniques. Biodiversity conservation is a core focus, with efforts to protect local flora and fauna. Through education and awareness, we involve our guests in conservation efforts, encouraging them to participate in eco-friendly activities that benefit the planet.People
Supporting local communities and empowering marginalized individuals is central to our mission. We actively source supplies and ingredients from local farmers and artisans, which not only reduces environmental impact but also stimulates the local economy. By promoting traditional arts, crafts, and practices, we ensure that cultural heritage is preserved and passed on to future generations. Our community involvement extends to supporting local projects focused on education, health, and infrastructure, with a particular focus on uplifting marginalized groups. We offer inclusive programs that are accessible to all, including scholarships and discounted rates for local residents. This ensures that even those with limited financial means can benefit from our services. Additionally, we conduct educational workshops and training sessions for local residents, especially children, to help them develop skills in sustainability, wellness, and hospitality. These initiatives empower individuals with the knowledge needed to improve their livelihoods while fostering a sense of community and belonging.Popular similar holidays
