Vietnam tailor made adventure tour

Description of Vietnam tailor made adventure tour
This Vietnam tailor made adventure tour includes a range of soft adventure activities, from trekking to exploring caves. The tour begins in Hanoi, with time to explore this city and neighbouring villages where crafts such as pottery and woodblock printing thrive. Then set out on a three day trek along winding trails in the famous mountains around Sapa, in northwestern Vietnam, discovering beautiful landscapes and meeting the various ethnic minority communities who live here.
Next, enjoy two days of varied activities in Quang Binh Province, including jeep rides, trekking, cave exploring and overnight camping at the mouth of the big Tu Lan Cave. You’ll need to be reasonably fit to cope with the trekking in the jungle here, and during the cave exploration be ready to swim a few hundred meters through the caves. Helmets, life jackets, headlights and even trekking boots are all to be provided and a team of porters will carry this equipment and accompany you.
After all this activity, wind down with a relaxing cruise on a traditional junk through the emerald waters of Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site and one of Vietnam’s most celebrated natural attractions.

Much of your time on this trip will involve biking, cave walking, forest trekking, or kayaking as you explore the dramatic landscape from within - the best way to perceive these natural masterpieces slowly and in depth. We care about the environment and want it to remain always untarnished; for those of us who visit today, for the coming generations, and for the wild animals who depend on it directly. Water bottles used during your trek in Sapa can be donated to local people who reuse or recycle them, and in many cases would otherwise have to buy them. During your jungle trek, a water container and water purifier are provided, and your camp sites are thoroughly cleaned when you pack up to ensure that nothing is left behind.
We deeply understand how important it is to protect cave formations, which form over time on a geologic scale but which can easily be permanently damaged by careless activity today, so we take conservation guidelines very seriously and keep our team and travellers well advised on how to avoid such damage.
Hotels and accommodation used are carefully selected, with preference given to those which use local materials and staff, and those featuring designs sensitive to the region’s traditional architecture and heritage.
People
We aim to raise awareness of the need for environmental and cultural conservation among young people and local residents. With this in mind, we use local guides who are trained as ambassadors of their regions, such as in Phong Nha, to introduce to visitors the beauty of their homeland. While trekking through Phong Nha National Park, you will be supported by local staff and porters; your trip generates income for these folks, and your impression of the area further inspires their love of their homeland. We use local guides with wide experience and knowledge of local traditions and the natural environment, as well as an ability to interpret the cultural heritage of the people in the places you visit. For this tour, you’ll have several different guides from the provinces you’ll visit; each will be an expert in their area.
This tour fits our philosophy admirably. It’s a means of alleviating poverty, conserving our indigenous culture, protecting the natural environment and, at the same time, providing our customers with an unforgettable holiday.
