Planet and people
We offer this package in collaboration with local Tango dancers from Argentina and Uruguay. In Granada there is a big community of immigrants from Argentina and Uruguay, who settled in Granada in the early eighties. In that years they started the International Granada Tango Festival. The year of its inception (1988), it indeed became a pioneer in Europe for the «Tango Festival» project. Today it is one of the leading Music and Dance Festivals in the cultural programme of Granada and Tango dancing has become very popular among local inhabitants. Our school collaborates in the promotion of the Tango Festival. Taking place in March and lasting five or more nights, the Festival offers spectacular shows, live music, dance classes, where our clients can watch or take part in Tango dancing, photographic exhibitions, poetry readings, cultural debates and much more.
