Torrox is a lovely village which really gives you the sense of being in 'real' Spain. Being taken to various locations, offered photography tuition and advice in a relaxed atmosphere is a fantastic way to spend a week - a great balance of focussing on a hobby while also being looked after on holiday. Memorable parts?
I mainly went for a short crash course in Spanish and I was not disappointed. The school caters for all levels and is extremely expert. I joined a lovely small group only one of whom was British although everyone spoke perfect English. I left wanting more.
Tips?
I opted for photography workshops as well and they were one to one in my case. The hiking involved was testing for an older person although the teaching was good. This was my first trip to mainland Spain... (more)Peter Martin
