This tailor made week of horse riding and language learning is ideal for any guests wishing to immerse themselves within the culture and the landscapes of Spain’s stunning Sierra Nevada region, near the historic city of Granada.
A choice of accommodation, some of which can be organised in nearby Granada, allows for a flexible approach to learning Spanish in its country of origin with four 45min lessons every day over the course of a five day week accessible for all levels from beginners to more advanced.
All Spanish learning levels can be covered as part of the course, including: A0, A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2
The horse riding element of this holiday takes you as part of a small guided group into the realm of the Sierra Nevada Mountains where a combination of barren alpine ridges and flourishing Mediterranean vegetation provides a superb platform from where to explore the area on horseback.
Chatting to your horse riding guide in Spanish is a great way to continue your studies and they’ll be sure to explain more about the natural and social history of the region as well as pointing out tell-tale signs of glaciers and mountain goats before stopping to watch eagles and vultures wheel overhead.

We offer this package in collaboration with different partners. They are all dedicated to rural tourism and you will find them between in the charming villages of the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, only twenty minutes from Granada. They offer horseback riding for beginners and the adventurous clients.The guided tours and campout rides go through the Sierra Nevada Natural Park. Special trips throughout the seasons are full moon outings, week long exploration of mountains and plain crossing.
Our students travel to the villages by public bus. All employees of the centres are local people, who are very involved in the protection of the Sierra Nevada. Students will receive a lot of information about legal and environmental protection of the park:
Sierra Nevada is already the twelfth Spanish National Park. The Park has now the necessary resources to start up the figures of integral protection that needs high mountainous massif more meridional of Europe, a space where the greater biodiversity of the continent is concentrated. Sierra Nevada is the first space that is linked up to the network of national parks after the modification of the denominated Law of Parks and is already the representative in the country of the ecosystems of high Mediterranean mountain.
