Arrival at Koh Tao and finding the lovely coral sand beach behind the dive school at Chalok Ban Bay.
Then, exploring the fascinating underwater environment.
Tips?
Go prepared to learn, there's loads of really interesting marine ecology information to learn as part of the Environment Management Programme. There are interesting and knowledgeable people there, who are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge.

I think it was being away together with our family somewhere exotic and adventurous and making memories but I was most taken by going to the elephant sanctuary and living in a solar powered beautiful lodge right in an elephant enclosure. I still can't believe that we got to do that!

The highlight was finding a giant monitor lizard outside our door in koh yao noi lol. I went to the Wildlife Rescue Centre in Thailand, this was a fantastic project helping animals who had been mostly kept as pets. It’s hard to say what was the most memorable part of this holiday as there was so much variety and different experiences, it’s difficult to decide what was the best part of it.

I had so many fantastic experiences, and the centre itself was in an idyllic area, on the grounds of a Buddhist temple. One highlight was spotting wild elephants in a nearby national park, after dark. (more)Olly Carney

Pick up at the airport as promised and whisked through the darkness to a fantastic, isolated villa, with the sounds of crickets and insects only for nightlife.
