Boutique and eco-conscious hotels that implement sustainable practices have been chosen throughout. For example, Hotel Bidasoa is a family-owned boutique hotel, powered by 95% renewable energy. All guest rooms at Hotel Destertica are supplied with 100% renewable electricity and Cabanas del Lago offer eco-cabins, energy efficient design and a strong commitment to sustainable, meaningful tourism.

Nature-based experiences such as hiking, walking, star gazing, are all low-impact ways to discover and enjoy Chile’s natural landscapes.

People are at the heart of everything we do, and this itinerary has been created to balance Chile’s iconic highlights with hidden community treasures, ensuring tourism benefits are shared widely.

Each transfer and excursion include local guides, ensuring employment for residents and authentic storytelling rooted in Chilean culture. All the experiences are also carefully curated to provide authentic engagement. For example, the Atacameñan weaving & pottery workshop directly supports local artisans. The Rural Chiloé family visit and visit to a traditional community-based Mapuche Huilliche, creates income opportunities while preserving ancestral traditions, crafts and cuisine.

Properties are small boutique or family-owned hotels (Bidasoa Hotel, Desertica Hotel, Elqui Domos, Casa Solaria, Palafito 1356) to ensure we channel tourism revenue into the local economy, often with a focus on employing local staff and suppliers.

Our local partners train guides annually on safety protocols, service, destinations, and responsible travel, ensuring they are equipped to make a positive impact.
