Our tour leaders have been working closely together with the community and understand the community's lifestyle and customs. The guides are members of the local community. They will demonstrate their daily work.
The organisation that operates this tour was established in 1994 by a local charity, Thailand Volunteer Service (TVS) to provide benefits to rural communities from tourism. Our aims are to strengthen the community. Decisions are made by the community and programmes are managed by the community for the community, so that the community are the owners of the programme and have rights over the way it is managed, with the purpose of encouraging sustainability and enabling learning among visitors to the community.
