The New Year's Eve dinner at Buena Vista Social Club was an expensive highlight that was not included in the tour.
Exciting parts were feeling as if we were on a movie set as the Old Cars cruised the street of the Malecon, The time warp that gripped Cuba. The decaying splendour of a bygone era and the gentle warm people who inhabited this island.

We have traveled quite a bit around the USA, Canada, South Africa, Europe and the Virgin Islands. Our trip to Cuba was unbelievably memorable specifically
because of our amazing guide and driver, thanks to Responsible Travel. With exception of South Africa, we have not used guides/drivers and prefer to do it

Be flexible, kind and polite. It will greatly increase your pleasure! Pretty and functional water bottles are highly desired gifts. People literally begged me for
my water bottle. Do not give to beggars! If you want to give gifts have your guide or case owners help you find the right way to distribute your gifts.
