The most memorable part of the holiday was arriving in Kitilla to a temperature of -29 degrees and the very strange feeling of the water in your nose freezing! We loved all the activities. I think the huskies would be voted top by most of the party. But just the experience of being surrounded by a beautiful snowy trees and scenery and for small (and larger) children, the constant availability of sledges and slopes and lovely deep snow is magical. Seeing the most awesome display of the Aurora Borealis on New Year's Eve! How lucky were we? This was the icing on the cake, following four days of exhilarating activities.
Tips?
It's a fair walk from the lake and hotel to the larger cabins and some activities can be slightly tiring, so make sure you are comfortable in what you are wearing and have some energy! If you wear glasses, take contact lenses.

I loved the Autumn colours; walking with the reindeer and learning about and experiencing the local culture and food. The aurora dome was very special ... a must do on the tour!! I just loved everything to be honest. The staff and guides are fantastic. Nothing is too much for them.

There were many memorable parts to this holiday, from catching a glimpse of the lights, to riding snow mobiles through the forest at night, to breathing such beautiful clean air. The holiday was magical.
